Hi, on Friday, Dec. 7 2007 Janna and I officially became grandma and grandpa Maddox. Danielle Marie Bills was born at 11:19 am and weighed in at 5 pounds 5 ounces. She is beautiful! She came a bit early so she needs to spend some time in the NICU before she will be able to go home. Mom and Dad are both doing well but do seem a little overwhelmed. It is a good thing she has grandparents to step in and help out. We rushed out to Austin as fast as we could on Friday. I am going home today because I have to go to work on Monday while Janna will remain with mother and baby for a while. The work thing strikes again. Wow! It is hard to believe that we are grandparents. We are really looking forward to the experience. My brother Troy and his wife Brigitte are not the only grandparents in town anymore.
